Don't take the scousers lightly!

Anticipation is building in the lead up to our biggest game so far this season. The trip to Anfield will be a true test of whether our squad can perform under pressure, on the "big" stage. However, one trap that the players may fall into is complacency.

Liverpool have lost 6 of their last 12 games, including their last 4. meanwhile, we are unbeaten in our last 11 games. on form, it's clear, we should win. However, their poor form of late may just be the thing that motivates them to put in that bit extra.

Another reason why this game is certainly not a given is the fact that it is at Anfield, and so our younger, less experienced players may be prone to getting caught up in all the negative atmosphere. Perhaps playing at least two of Neville, Scholes and Giggs may help combat this problem.

Of course, we will go into the game expecting to come out with at least a draw, and rightly so, however, we must be wary that Liverpool will come out firing!
